Help, please
Jan. 9th, 2004 02:15 pmAs you may know, I got a DVD player for Christmas.
I've found out that the local blockbuster video can rent me four not new releases for $10 Canadian (that's $142,805.23 US, not a bad deal)
Anyway, everytime I get to the video store my mind goes COMPLETELY blank, and I can't remember any older movies I wanted to see.
Give me some suggestions.
Anything - any genre, anything.

Date: 2004-01-09 10:55 am (UTC)American Beauty
LA Story (I love Steve Martin)
First Knight
Tomb Raider (the first one)
X-Men (the first one)
Vacation - with Chevy Chase
The first three Lethal Weapon movies(god they are funny and cathartic)
Oldies:
Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant - oh GOOD
Inside Daisy Clover with Natalie Wood and Robert Redford
Try the IMDB and see if they have a sort by Award type thing. Or randomly type in actors you like.

Those are extra features that don't show up on the menu - you have to hunt for them (hence the name, Easter Eggs). You can find a lot of DVD related web sites that point them out but my favorite is The Easter Egg Archive.
