anigoBeen pretty busy lately - school and all.
I've been working on a group project for my Marketing Class from Hell. This is the class that I got 50 on the mid term. The class that over half of the class dropped before the second day. The class that the Prof only decided who the people in my group for the first group project should be one week before it was due, during a snowstorm that stopped the city, which also happened to be spring break, and wouldn't give us an extention. (All the other groups got 3 weeks, but that's a long story...)
But I digress... I'm a big girl... I can handle it.
Anyway. For the second group project he decided to break up my group and assign the people in it to other groups. So I go into an already established group who are already working on their project. This group consists of a guy and a girl who don't say boo. DOn't contribute, don't do nothing. I don't even know their names. It also contains a guy who I've had in past groups in past classes who is a pretty smart cookie and fairly easy to get along with. In this group is also one big ol' pushy woman. And she's got the rest of the group cowed. Not only is she big, old, and pushy, she's stupid. And there's no arguing with her. And, quite frankly, I don't have it in me to try. So we've been dithering about the content... and she's steamrolled the whole thing, and said she was going to do it all and... well.. there you go. She sent it to everybody Friday. Everybody except me that is. Apparently she has 2 Gina's in her address book. So I didn't get a copy - which kind of sucked, as I was going to prepare the power point presentaiton from this document. I got it late Sunday (which again, sucked, as we were scheduled to meet about it on Sunday, so I wasn't prepared, despite the emails I sent to her) We kind of bickered about the content of it - which, quite frankly sucks - but what she's got stays. I've asked who's going to at least format the presentation before it goes out, and I haven't had any takers, so I'm in the process of trying to do it now, but not only is she stupid, she spells worse than I do and every third word has a comma after it - whether it needs it or not. Unfortunately, it's due tomorrow. Yay.
Christ, I hate this whole thing. I just wish I could go to bed and not come out until July.
But, on the upside, after the next class (which also involves a presentation of this report from hell) it's just the exam in two weeks and I'm done.
And then the 2 week Intensive class... and then SUMMER!!!!!!!!
(And then one more class to the certificate... YAY ME!)
