I received a response to an earlier post not so very long ago that I seriously took the wrong way. Luckily, however, as I've said in the past, it's my nature not to confront stuff like that. I'm a wimpy pacifist and will more likely go off and brood on my own or something. Unfortunately, something else I tend to do is take things too personally and look at things in the worst possible light. And this medium is notorious for allowing all of us to do that.

I had it explained to me when I was ranting on IM earlier that the post was not intended as anything ookie, but rather was just this individual's way of dealing with issues like this. When it was explained to me, it all made sense and I was glad that I didn't bite back - however, I suspect that there are others who may have - not necessarily anybody here, but others who would have started something ookie none the less.

Anyway, to wrap this up, all I want to say is... um...

Eat more fiber.

Um... No that's not it.

Vote democrat.

Um... no that's not it either.

Aw shucks. Maybe what I'm trying to say is we should all, me included - hell, me at the top of the list, try not to take ourselves so seriously. Take a deep breath, turn the other cheek, live and let live, this is not your father's Oldsmobile, diamonds are forever...
