I am grateful that National Life has got my benefits brou-ha-ha figured out and a check is on its way.
I am grateful that I do have a job, even though I'm not crazy about it, and I get a paycheque and it's not miserable out - despite all the snow, and I am able to leave at noon to go pick up my daughter from school and despite all the things I've been kvetching about over the past week or so, I am able to do something about most of them, and the things I'm not able to do anything about, I'm able to hunker down and bear, with the fantastic support of all the people here.
I am grateful that I was able to avoid the stupid van that didn't see me when he tried to move into my lane this morning - again, despite the fact that there was nowhere for either of us to go between the 9 mile high snowbanks and the 8:00 traffic on either side. (What, is there a freekin' bullseye painted on the side of my car or something?!?!)
I am grateful that
anahata56 has been given the strenght and the grace to be able to handle all of the crap that's been thrown her way lately. And that she's been given Paul for when that strength seems to be lagging (but never the grace.. the grace never lags).
Ok, I need to buckle down to get through the next couple of days. This means GET OFF THE COMPUTER GIRL!!! Come the first of March I'm turning over a whole new leaf. This invovles being more selfish and..... JOINING A GYM. But more about that later. Right now, I've GOT to get some work done.
TTFN.
