96 Centimeters
Feb. 20th, 2004 08:29 am96 Centimeters! 96!!!! Nine-Six. That's almost a metre. Almost THREE FREEKIN' FEET of SNOW!
And that's just snow, that doesn't speak to the drifts that have been created by the 100km/hr wind.
Very cool.
I'm thankful that Dick is safely home after putting his truck off the road yesterday
I'm thankful that I'm snuggly warm in my nice little house with lots of food and wood for the fireplace should the power go out. (Though I'm getting a little low on milk, which means that the coffee situation may be soon compromised...)
I'm thankful nobody was injured in the storm in the two provinces that have declared the state of emergency.
I'm thankful that this morning has dawned bright and crisp and relatively not too cold, and that it looks like we're going to have a very pretty day in which to dig out.

The weather is miserable here, too... and I have NO food.
