Grateful Tuesday

I feel grateful that I have been awake since 4:00 this morning, during which time I lay in bed and rejoiced in the fact that I didn't have to get up for another 2 and a half hours. (I suspect I will be less grateful around 8:00 tonight)

I feel grateful for artists like Christopher Cross, Barry Manalow and Tom Jones who, if you can release your inhibitions and embrace the kitch factor, are FANTASTIC to listen to on the way to work in the morning.

I feel grateful for having wonderful LJ friends. The spotlight of gratefulness today is going to shine on 64tbird and anahata56. 64tbird because she knows each and every one of my deep dark secrets and loves me none the less, and anahata56 because she doesn't have a clue about any of my deep dark secrets, but thinks I'm pretty decent regardless, and for some reason I want to be decent to live up to her expectations.

Woah, and if that doesn't meet or exceed your daily sappy quotent for the day, baby, nothing will.
