It's getting closer...
Apr. 20th, 2015 09:25 amLast night the first of my three final marks was posted. This was my nutrition course. A first year, self directed course that I took because I needed a) an elective and b) something that wasn't going to make my brain explode.
I got an A.
Assprof has yet to post either the mark for our final paper or our final mark. I expect to receive that about 6 weeks after I have my degree.
Tomorrow I have my final exam for my Communications class (the one that had me posting here frequently.) I'm going in to that exam with something like a 52. The exam is worth 40%. All of the practice tests I've taken have me in the high 70's, low 80's.
I wonder what I'll talk about when this is over.
(Actually, I've been looking into a MEd in Adult Education. Interestingly, it doesn't look like you need a BEd to go for a MEd, unless you're looking to teach, which I'm not. You just need a decent essay as to why you want to take the program and GPA of 3.0 (mine's 3.6 - without the Assprof mark, which I'm pretty sure will bring it down.) At the school I'm going to now it's a 10 course program which, at 4-5 courses a year would have me done in about 3 years. I would rather do it through a different school though. I must look at some distance courses through some other universities Hmmmm.... Don't tell my husband just yet. I'm pretty sure he'd have a stroke.)

Date: 2015-04-22 01:00 am (UTC)Have you ever considered a straight up-computer only course? My master's is that way, they work out the clinical hours needed by you choosing one of their many areas to volunteer or whatever. You might want to check it out. I only say that because for people like us who are BUSY and work it is great because a lot of your coursework is done when YOU have time, may be in the middle of the night but they don't care. So yeah, for about 18 months you might not sleep a lot but you'll get your masters. Just a thought.
*hugs*
