anigo | The countdown's on

Four days from right now I'll be looking for my seat to write my Finance exam. All my marks are in and I currently have a 51, so any points I get out of this exam will be gravy. (I am, however, studying my ass off between now and then.) Shortly thereafter, I would say within an hour, to an hour and a half thereafter, I will be finished the term. (With pretty much a whole month off before the next term starts.)

Seven days from now I should have an idea on the challenge for credit status. I checked on it today and I was told to check back Monday and they'll have an answer. Preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best. If you have time to honour the deity of your choice for great favours in my direction I wouldn't be offended.

Three weeks from right now I'll be launching into 12 days vacation. If you think I don't need it or I'm not looking forward to it, you're extremely mistaken.

In 29 days I will "officially" start my new role. I say officially in quotes because I'm already pretty much phased out of my old role already, and I don't actually start getting paid for my new role until April, but we'll go with the official start date of the first of January anyway.

In other news

The kid is getting her grad pictures done this week and this weekend is her final volley ball tournament of her high school career.

Part of me is sad, but the rest of me is trying not to think about it because that's the kind of sad that could break me. I'm so close to getting through shit, I can't get broken now. So trying not to think of sad. Trying to focus on A) no more highschool team drama, bullshit or expenses. And B) Lots of University volleyball to watch soon! Not to mention I have played a part in raising the most amazing young woman ever, and she's about to unleash herself on the rest of the world. That's awesome, ya?

So... close... to... losing... a... tonne... of... stress...
