Wow, my phonetic spelling of diarrhea took a long time to be recognized by spell check.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway.......

I just checked my marks on line and, miracles of miracles, I got a 91 on my finance midterm.

**blinky**

So as I stand right now, with 3 weeks left of class, the following is true:

Finance: 41/100 with a final exam (worth 45%) and two assignments (worth 5% each) left. Translation: a 20% (aka, showing up and signing the paper) on the final allows me to pass this class muthaphuckas. And the prof is so far behind right now that he told us the exam is going to be totally multiple choice. (Multiple choice? On a finance exam? Seriously? How do you show you know the concepts on how to amortize a loan based on future values of money in multiple choice? Still. MULTIPLE CHOICE, BITCHES!!) (Sorry, I have become a lot more sweary lately. I'll try better. Who's kidding whom. No I won't.)

Operations Management: 40/100 with a term paper left (worth 20% - submitted today, 1000 words over the 2000 work target (prof says that's ok!), content amazing, if I do say so myself - the team was a bunch of keeners), a participation mark to be awarded (15%) and a final exam (worth 15%. Really? 15%? And I'm going to show up for that... why?)
Translation: I talk in class, therefore I participate. A simple pass on the term paper will give me a pass on the class. It's all gravy after that.

My most recent submission for challenge for credit has been, well, submitted. My course load for the winter term, assuming the challenge for credit is approved will consist of one Sunday night class on Policy Development and a pre-recorded class on Parent and Child Relationships. Both courses may be a bit heavy on papers, but probably not so intense on memorization, and to be clear my memory is...

...oh, shiny! What was I just talking about?

If the challenge is fully accepted I graduate in Spring 2015, bitches!!! (I know, I've said this repeatedly. I sometimes need to keep saying it to make it real.)

If the challenge isn't accepted, depending on how many don't get accepted, I will do one of a couple of things.

If they give me all but one or two credits, I will either double up on the Winter credits, suck it up and just effing do it, or take a couple of summer credits and be done before The Kid starts university. Done.

If it's more than that, I'll probably try to double up where I can, two over the summer, two in the fall and two in the winter and graduate in Spring 2016. With or without my sanity. That will be open for debate.

I may bomb the university. Wow, jeeze. Good people don't even joke about that kind of shit anymore. Y'all know I wouldn't really bomb a university, right? Right?

Or I may just say feck it and give up. (Yeah, probably not. I've come so far...)

Translation: I'm on mile 22 of a 26 mile marathon. The legs hurt, I have a stich in my side, but the end is in sight, and the terrain looks pretty much down hill from here.

Sooooooo clooooosssssssssse.

At that close, I would think finishing would be a big incentive!

One thing I learned in grad school was that quitting is a valid option and that treating it as such tended to result in choosing a different option (at least for me).

This is so very exciting.

Do you think there's any possible way we could try to finish at the exact same mili second in time and space?

Me neither, but it would have been awesome! :D

My mom and I were in college at the same time ... she was getting an associates while I was getting my bachelors :)

I'm glad I'm not the only person who figured out what they needed to get on the final to pass. I used to go in saying "Ok, I need a whatever to get a B!" You are going to rock this!
