Day two of no crying - though today isn't over yet. My current record is two days. I'm only counting work days, because to be clear, I cried at a stupid peanut butter commercial last night. But that doesn't count, because I have a 17 year old who is going off to university in a year and a half and I'm allowed to cry at peanut butter commercials. This means, however, that so far I haven't cried the whole month of May. Yay me!

I had something else extremely relevant and somewhat amusing to add here, but I've completely forgotten what it was in an attempt to locate the peanut butter commercial.

Oh well, I'm sure it will come back to me.

As you were...

--Edit--

Oh, I know what it was!

I picked up an audio book two weeks ago because I had a bunch of driving to do. It was called "The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year." I'm enjoying it tremendously. I just googled the author now and realized that she died right about the time I purchased the book.

That feels creepy. And a bit of a shame, since there won't be any sequel, but as I see she is also the author of The Secret Life of Adrian Mole, which I've heard about and never read, I may have to investigate that as well.

Ok, really this time. As you were...

Curiously, that happens to me a LOT. I find some music I haven't heard before, or a good book, and I find the creator JUST died. I feel almost responsible somehow.

Congrats on the two dry days, so far!

And....why did she go to bed for a year? Was she really, really, really tired?
