Day Nine: Two images that describe your life right now, and why.

This is from the St. Pierre race in 2006. (It's the apres race party) This year the guy in the blue vest (Pete) and the guy in the white shirt (Shane) won't be there but it will still be a good time. This time next month we'll be hard at it.



This is from yesterday's motorcycle trip. We hit a shower and spent 20 minutes under an underpass. It was actually quite delightful. The green bike is mine and the guy in the helmet is Dickie.



In other news my first "race" since I did the Valley 10K two years ago is today. It's only a fun run and just 5 k, but it's POURING out and I haven't really reached a full 5 k in my training yet. And I'm stiff and sore from 10 hours on the bike yesterday. However, I'll go anyway, and get wet, and probably walk most of it. And in the end I'll be glad I did.
