Backups Anybody?

What programs do people use to back up their computers? The one I'm using now isn't cutting it for me.

i have a 250gig external hard drive but i was thinking of changing it to something online with an off site location. they have lots of plans but i think it's about 30 bucks a year to save up to 162 gigs. can't remember the name but there's one that all my computer geek friends like better than the others.
