Geek Questions for Xmas

1) Which is better, Guitar Hero or Rock Band?

2) If a group of relatively not very computer brilliant (computer savvy, perhaps, but not brilliant.. and old, did I mention old? It's an old group. Mostly. But I'm digressing.) used to play Age of Empires against each other on line 100 years ago, but AOE is no longer supported on line, what would you recommend for that group of players to look into? The players liked the sheep killing, the chance to advance civilizations, the military strategies, the taunts, the sheep killing, etc. etc. etc.

3) Somebody please talk me out of buying an ITouch because my line of credit is already WAY higher than it needs to be.

You can just play age of empires without an online server. We used to play it at work (er, in lunchtimes?) where I'd host the game and everyone would just connect to my machine. Worth a go, though afraid I can't remember the instructions.

And the sheep killing is fun.
