Supper this evening was supposed to be steak. Three nice thick steaks have been sitting on the counter defrosting and marinading since lunch time.

About 45 minutes ago I went to take the Kid to Tae Kwon Do.

When I got back, the steaks were gone.

For some reason, Lucy isn't hungry for her supper.

Wonder why.

poor dog is ILL, that's why. i can't believe you'd try to place the blame on an innocent pooch like Lucy. she was most likely GUARDING the steaks and then someone came into the house to try to murder you only you weren't there and then they tried to steal your cookie jar money so Lucy cleverly dragged the steaks over to them and because they were carniverous raw-meat-eating thieves they took the bait and LEFT your home before you came back with the kid.

all that action made Lucy ill, and now she's recovering. do the proper thing and give her a cookie.
