I'm falling apart!

I swear to god, you ever have one of those days, or a couple of those days, where you figure that the glue that holds together all the cells in your body must have gone on vacation? This is one of those times.

My face is so dry and flaky that it feels like it's going to fall right off. At the same time, it's a total oil slick.

Around my mouth, in addition to the start of yet another cold sore (though I think I got it early enough this time with the Zovirax) it feels like what our old dog used to get when she chewed on plastic. All rashy and shit... ugh.

The roof of my mouth is falling apart in big chunks of skin.

My tailbone is STILL sore. Tubing over the weekend didn't help much.

Allergies are driving me batty. Sneezing, itchy eyes, what feels like a fur ball lodged in my esophagus, dry coughs...

Not even going to start talking about the ingrown hairs that are developing in areas that shouldn't have ingrown hairs.

It's like my body and immune system just decided to go on vacation.

awww, i'm just glad you are human! then when the rest of us get those things we won't feel substandard!

did you burn the roof of your mouth on something hot? tea, maybe? it will hurt but if you gargle with hot (really warm but not enough to burn) salt water (about a teaspoon..yeah, a LOT) with ONE normal aspirin dissolved in it the mouth will simultaneously heal and feel better. the salt water makes it heal up and the aspirin in the water temporarily numbs your mouth. do it three times a day.

there used to be something to rub on ingrown hairs but i've forgotten it. probably some old time folk remedy or something. the obvious deal is to NOT shave those areas but use something else, wax, whatever to get the hair off. as it stands you can't shave it till that hair's out.

ibuprofen for the tailbone.

benedryl for the allergies, AND drink plenty of liquids.

lotion the hell out of your face and use toilet seat protectors to blot off extra oil. hey, they are cheap and work just like the fancy ones.

Yes, I did burn the roof of my mouth, I'll try the gargle thing. :) I usually *do* wax, but for some reason sometimes the hairs cant figure out which way to go when they're growing back, so voila with the ingrown hairs. And I considered medicating myself to death this morning, but I figured if I medicated for everything that was bothering me, It would probably quite literally medicate me... to death!
