Lucy Update

Lucy just came back from the Vet. She's dopey and is currently asleep here on the kitchen floor. The vet says her hips look fine and there doesn't look to be anything torn. She says there's some arthritis in her rear hock which could be from an earlier injury that we didn't notice before. She's on some NSAIDs and supposed to rest - no more than 10 minute long walks - for two weeks and we'll see if she's better. The worst case scenario we're looking at right now is having her lose a bit of weight, adding some glucosomine to her diet and giving her more exercise. Hmm... sounds like that wouldn't hurt me either. (Except perhaps the glucosomine)
