Yeah, rain. And CBC's "GO", but what else? Yeah, the sewing machine, but anything else?

Exactly. NOTHING!

The Kid and Dick have gone to a monster truck rally (no comments necessary) for the day and I've got the house to myself! I'm making curtains. Roman blinds to be precise, to go in the bathroom. (Once they're done I'll take pictures.) It's alternating between pouring and just being very stormy and this is my kind of weather. It's all green and grey outside. And warm and toasty (and quiet) inside. I'm just about done the blinds and then I'll tidy up after myself, make myself some scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, maybe have a sinfully decadent bath. Maybe eat scrambled eggs in the bath? No sailing today as the boat's being prepped for SPM (woohoo!). So I may head over to ConsumerMart for some Velcro to put up my roman blinds (and maybe some green felt to make a frog for the Kid, since she's DYING to sew and all the material I have here is either a bitch to work with or really too freekin' expensive to make a stuffed animal from) and then maybe Chapters/Starbucks for a coffee and a magazine. **Happy sigh**

I needed a day off. As my mom would say... "Hot damn"
