1300 in 30
Apr. 7th, 2006 09:30 amIn January we did a timed swim, sort of a benchmark. Last night we did it again.
In January I swam 44 lengths in 30 minutes. The equivalent of 1100 meters.
Last night I swam 52 lengths in 30 minutes. The quivalent of 1300 meters. I've improved by 200 meters in half an hour. Now that may not sound like much, but damnit, I'm excited! Particularly when I started this on July 10, 2005 (less than a year ago) I couldn't do 4 lenghts.
(And while trying to actually find when it was I started swimming I see that on September 22nd, I did 28 lengths in 45 minutes. Yeah, I've improved. ***big silly grin***)
