Tornados are extremely rare in Western Montana... enough so that if you tell someone there there have been one or two tornados here they look at you like you're insane. (They do happen once in a very great while... they don't last long. I'm told it's the mountains.)

Here it's earthquakes and forest fires.

As far as I can determine, we get Tornados here in Engand more frequently... I've personaly seen three, and been in one... although they're all so small they'd hardy count.

That's what I thought. I thought you were more northern and all hilly and pine tree-y, and I couldn't imagine tornadoes there, but then when it was splashed all over CNN, like it was something unusual, my geographic spidey senses were tingling. Stupid geographic spidey senses.
