Well, that's a bit of an exageration. There will be two directors in Thornhill that will be assuming different roles, and one director will now be directing both domestic and global account management. But that's it.
No shuffling of teams, no increase or decrease in book of businesses, no layoffs, no nothing.
So all the hype, tension, stress.. all for nothing.
Account Managers are being encouraged to work modifed work weeks if they can, but I work 4 days now, so modifying my work week doesn't work for me. They're also encouraged to "diversify"; take on training roles, or other roles in the organization that they're interested in, but as I'm regional, my opportunities are limited.
I can't believe I lost sleep over this.
I'm actually kind of ticked about it.
