The Kid is making these great hemp braceletes, ankletes and chokers. They're very pretty. She's thinking about making a few $$'s by selling them. If anybody'd like a personally made piece of hemp jewelery for $5, please advise (with bead colour preference) and one will be made for you.
Went for a bike ride yesterday which ended up at the driving range. Not a long bike ride, nor an overly successful stint at the driving range, but both were enough to use muscles I don't normally use. I feel like I'm 80 this morning. Tonight I should be running - and it's a nasty one: 10 minute run/1 minute walk x 5, but I'm supposed to sail all day and I can't see running afterwards, so I'm going to go this morning (Sorry

You didn't want to do this one anyway - hell, *I* don't want to do this one and I'll probably be back before you even wake up. Go without me tonight and we'll both go again on Friday. Or call Jen. She wants to get started again too.)
And I will go, just as soon as I can bend over far enough to tie my sneakers. I suspect that will be around 3:00 this afternoon. ;)
Bean salad update:
Day two of the bean salad was phenomenal. All that garlic and vinegar made the salad To Die For. Even Dick liked it, and he doesn't like bean salad. Day three of the salad is unknown, mostly because it didn't make it to day three. I'm going to have to make another batch. I had bean salad for breakfast, for lunch, and for supper yesterday. Needless to say, flatulence abounds!
siliconshaman suggested adding tomatoes and making bean soup. I think just adding chopped cherry tomatoes would make an excellent addition, as would olives. The next batch will have olives in it to sing in harmony with the feta. Unfortunately, I don't think anything's open today to allow me to stock up on ingredients, so a second batch will probably have to wait until I get back from NB.
Ok, it's 8:00. If I go do laundry that might help stretch my muscles out a bit before I actually start pretending to really stretch. If I can get out of the house by 9, I can be back before 10:30ish which gives me a full hour to get ready for sailing.
