Ramblings of the morning
Apr. 14th, 2004 11:36 amFor future reference, don't call your husband your "coffee bitch" unless you're fairly certain he's in a good mood.
"When the day shall come, that we do part, if my last words are not "I love you" ye'll ken it was because I didna have time."
Sigh!
I will pay TOP dollar for anybody with a UK accent to put *that* in a .wav
Had an ok time on my exam last night. It was tough, but I was prepared. Not gonna guess what the mark was, but I'm fairly confident I passed. Classes have been over for a week now and my other exam - the Marketing one that I got a 50 on the midterm - is next week. We still don't have an outline for this exam. I'm not expecting to be spoon fed here, but an exam outline is supposed to be part of the sylibus and I would prefer not getting it 2 days before the exam. I will be TOTALLY glad when that class is completely over and done with.
Had a GREAT meeting today with a customer. He's on contract for 6 months with the company but usually he's in far off reaches of the world working with governments of impoverished nations building an education system. Last year he spent 3 months in a little country in the Himalayas where the capital city didn't have any traffic lights and you had to wait for the yak traffic to clear before you could get to many of your destinations. Sign me up for that.
Is it just me or is anybody else noticing that EVERYBODY seems to be having a hard time coping lately? I'm sending out one big MASSIVE group hug to anybody who needs it. The big fleece blankie is always here and I'm ready to dive under it with anybody who wants to hide from reality with me. Junk food is always standing by and the Gilligan's Island reruns are always just waiting to be viewed.
K. Gone now.
