I feel grateful that I have been awake since 4:00 this morning, during which time I lay in bed and rejoiced in the fact that I didn't have to get up for another 2 and a half hours. (I suspect I will be less grateful around 8:00 tonight)

I feel grateful for artists like Christopher Cross, Barry Manalow and Tom Jones who, if you can release your inhibitions and embrace the kitch factor, are FANTASTIC to listen to on the way to work in the morning.

I feel grateful for having wonderful LJ friends. The spotlight of gratefulness today is going to shine on [livejournal.com profile] 64tbird and [livejournal.com profile] anahata56. [livejournal.com profile] 64tbird because she knows each and every one of my deep dark secrets and loves me none the less, and [livejournal.com profile] anahata56 because she doesn't have a clue about any of my deep dark secrets, but thinks I'm pretty decent regardless, and for some reason I want to be decent to live up to her expectations.

Woah, and if that doesn't meet or exceed your daily sappy quotent for the day, baby, nothing will.

One that I forgot, and a new one that just popped up

I am grateful that the mortgage rates have JUST DROPPED AGAIN, and now we're looking at renewing at 4.75% - which means that we can put hardwood floor in the final two bedrooms, put in a new back door, put tile down in the bathroom and paint the basement, all for the low low price of $10 a month (for the next 15 or so years) and pretty much completing all of the renovations on the house.

And look. I've already plum completelly forgotten about the other thing - again.

Oh well, just another thing to be grateful for later, I guess.

More eye squiggles! What's up with this? I almost NEVER get eye squiggles and this month I've had two squiggly days.

It's very hard to report on statistics when the statistics don't make sense to your head.

Tarnation!

FINALLY got the Annual Reports out that I've been trying to get out now for a month.

Got almost through this month's quarterly reports. Will start on this month's annual reports tomorrow.

Found out that it would cost $53.60 to Fed-ex a two litre bottle of diet coke from Halifax to Vancouver to satisfy a co-worker's cravings (because she's too lazy to walk downstairs to get one for herself) Unfortunately, this would be difficult to explain on a P.O. so we may have to go with ground mail, which will be significantly less expensive, but will take upwards of 2 weeks.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is what an Employee Assistance Program Account Manager does in the run of a day.
