A Quick and Dirty IQ Test

I have my doubts. I am possibly the most below mathematically intellegent person going. And any particular reason why General Knowledge had to include two history questions (including one US one) and nothing on biology or chemistry or such?

Life has been busy. I've been out of town the past three days - racked up about $700 worth of expenses just in those three days. I'm pooped.

Soccer started for the Kid last night, I'm not coaching this year. I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy, I think.

Sailing started this weekend too. WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo

With respect to any earlier bitching re: sailing. Oh well. It's worth it in the end.

It was hot, blowing 20 knots, we were short on crew AGAIN, the captain was grumpy.... It rocked. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it's sailing season an I'm back.

Oh, siliconshaman, I do have a boat. Not a big boat, not even a keel boat really, but I do actually have a sail boat. I haven't even put it in the water since I started racing on the boat I'm on now. The fun for me isn't in being able to go where I want to go - though someday I might want to just pull up roots and sail around - it's in the sport of racing. The adrenaline, the teamwork, the sore muscles and the yelling and the rum! Buying a boat (particularly one big enough to make me happy), fitting it for racing, rounding up crew - you need way more *bling* than I'm making now. And I'm not anywhere near enough of a person to assume to be able to captain a boat like that, either skills wise or balls wise. Someday maybe, but not now.

Anyway, that's it from me. I haven't dropped off the planet, I just seem to be spending more time on it, that's all.

Hehe... oh my god, that cake. It was a bit dry, actually, but man was it ever funny. I'm very lucky that Mariko and Vic have a sense of humour. I think it took us about forty minutes to stop breaking into giggles.
