I've just bought something completely decadent.

I've just bought a thick feather bed to go on top of my mattress. Pair that with the existing down pillows and duvet and suddenly I am surrounded by a thick layer of softness.

Add to that the Solitudes CD that The Kid has, the one with the babbling brook, the pan flute and the birds and suddenly things look like they might be all right after all.

As long as I don't have to get out of bed.
