Mental Health is Highly Overrated

Friday. My Day off. My quiet day.

Starts with a wimper.

The power went out.

Long enough to cancel school.

So now we've got the Kid, her friend, three dogs (one of which is chewing everything that she can chew, and what she can't chew she's just picking up and running around with) and a woman who is this ---> <---- close to losing her mind.

Thank god the power came back on again, at least we can go rent a bunch of movies and lock the whole pack of them in the rec room.

Please hold, I have to go kill a dog...

Back. The dog never suffered.

Thank god I have power again. Did I say that already?

I'm going to go dry my hair and then lock myself in my bedroom.

ARGH! FIGHTING KIDS!!!

(Running to the bedroom and hiding under the bed)

Actually - why don't we meet in NYC?

We can all shar a hotel room for a night or two (I've slept with Lanie before) and just relax, eat EXCELLENT food, meet songbird4, and see Ginjer from HL novels, and have a girls weekend!
