anigoA moment of silence, please, for Angel the hamster.
Last night, just as we were getting ready for our nightly snuggle, The Kid says to me that Angel is sleeping on top of her shavings for a change and it's very cute.
Oh sweetheart....
I swear, this part of being a mom sucks. Nobody should have to hold a child while they sob. Well, actually no child should have to sob for any reason period. We're going to look at baby hamsters tonight. She's already decided this one will be named Blossom.
There were no deer on the hill this morning.
I was late to work and the receptionist and I have already had a fight.
But hey. S'all part of life, eh?
I had an odd dream last night. I think I'm going to start posting my dreams, assuming I can remember them long enough.
So, a male friend of mine invited me over to his house because his wife was going to be away and I could "help" watch his kids. In real life he has 2 girls but in the dream he had three. His house looked like a combination of the house he lives in now and my first appartment. I came over knowing that he had an alterior motive. We had supper - he made his special bean salad and I made brownies. (Quite the combination, eh?) He kissed me and I didn't like it. His wife came home. The house turned into a female juvenile detention centre. There was one girl that was really nasty. But it was the "I'm hurting" kind of nasty, so I made friends with her and got her to talk about stuff. Then there was a big buffet/party and instead of eating I spent most of the time in the kitchen washing dishes.
Odd, huh.
(FWIW, the "friend" was not GLH)
That's it for this morning. There was something else, but it's left my mind completely. I'm going to try to do some work, though maybe some coffee first might not be a bad idea.
