Oh god, It's wonderful

It's hot. It's not pleasantly warm, it's not a bit balmy. It's beautifully hot. 34 celcius, 90 odd fahrenheit.

I'm not wearing socks. I don't have any sweaters on. Hell, I barely have anything on at all. It's wonderful.

Dick's mowing the lawn and the house is hot and everything smells like fresh cut grass. There's a sheen of sweat on skin. Everybody looks tousled. We just dined el fresco on the patio. The only thing missing was some nice cold white wine.

You can just feel thunder in the air, despite the fact the sun is shining through the haze.

Colour me blissful.

Sadly, the forecast shows nothing over 20 for the foreseeable future.

Ah well, enjoy it while you can, eh?

Mid twenties is usual for summer. Nice days will approach high 20s. Hot days (and we get a few of them) will be 30-32. Occasionally up to 34 but I don't think I've ever seen anything over 35.
