So I went with "work through it"
Apr. 21st, 2004 10:42 amBut I still feel like crap.
However, here's something. I won a prize. I won a cost recovery prize at work. (I'm not even going to get into the whole cost recovery thing... let's just roll with it, shall we?)
And the prize is - Two mugs emblazoned with our company logo, a $20 gift certificate for Chapters, which I dig humungously, and two passes to a Cineplex Odeon Theatre.
Guess what.
There aren't any Cineplex Odeon Theatres in Atlantic Canada.
I wonder if they'll send me the plane ticket to go to Toronto to catch a flick.
Not likely.
I'm thinking of making a graciously thankful speech wherein I gratefully accept the mugs and the gift certificate and (with much tongue in cheekyness) donate the movie tickets to somebody in head office for their continuing hard work at understanding the nation-wide business of our organization.
