anigoIt's still snowin' and blowin' like a sun-of-a-gun.
Here's a picture from my front door. The first dark spot, from the floor up, is where it's drifted right against the door. The second white pile is how high the snow is across the whole front lawn. I can't see any evidence of the shrubs in my front yard, the tallest of which is just under a meter.

Sure, I live in "the great white north", but I live in Nova Scotia. We NEVER get snow here. Well, not much anyway. At last I heard, which was a while ago, as I've gone off and had the greatest nap for the past couple of hours, we'd had 50 cm and another 20 cm to come yet.
I don't have any phones, but I have internet(odd, since I thought the internet was through my phone lines, but I'm not complaining) My work email says that they've closed our office because of the state of emergency (yay!) and that it will most likely be closed tomorrow as well (yay again!)
Richard got home fine and proceeded to rip the carpet up in the bedrooms. We've spent the blizzard day (aside from my two hour nap) in construction mode. Thank god the power didn't go out, it would have been rather... er... inconvenient.
