Holy Blizzard, Batman
Feb. 19th, 2004 06:55 amCool.
Everything's closed. Plows are off the roads, the average snwofall for February is 42cm, we're in the process of exceeding that within a 24 hour period.
I let Lucy out back and there was a skiff of snow on the patio. "Humpf" though I. What a load of brouhaha for nothing. But apparently the 100 km an hour wind has pushed it all to the front of the house, for when I opened the front door there was a drift a meter high.
Today I am grateful for my nice tight warm little house; for bringing work hom with me, so even if the plows *weren't* off the roads and all the malls and businesses weren't closed, I still woudn't have to go out; and for... good coffee and eggs benedict!
Maybe once I get movin' I'll take a few pictures.
