Just got my last assignment back from my nutrition course. I didn't do as well as the first one and only got a 91/100. **le sigh**
So based on my midterm and my two assignments I'm going in to the final (worth 30%) with a 63%. There is no requirement to pass the final to pass the course.
I am now semi-officially only two courses away from graduating.
For those two courses, I have one group assignment to do for AssClass. The group is awesome. We will do fine. On the downside, though, I only have 3 of 4 assignments back from this class and those four assignments are worth only 15%. We did our group presentation and I think we did well, but time will tell, but it's worth 30% and the group assignment is also worth 30%. On top of that there's a class participating mark of 25%, which to be clear for this class is a "how much do I like you" mark. I participate lots. The results, however, are dubious at best. What this means is, 2 weeks left of this class and I know I have a 7.9%. Nothing like a class you have no idea how your progress looks.
The last course is the course I'm enjoying. I currently have perfect marks for my blogs (which you've read here - worth 25%) and am running about a 4/5 on my presentations (with one left to do) which is worth 20%. There's also a participation mark for this class, but despite the fact I participate about equally in both classes, I'm more comfortable this prof will be fair and reasonable. The one big black cloud in this class is the final exam, worth 40%. I am a fairly good communicator, if I do say so myself. What I'm not good at, however, is memorization - meaning I'm comfortable I could knock almost every presentation or report out of the park, but if you ask me to list the steps of a formal report, I'm going to stare at you like you're not speaking English, so I may be in trouble.
Still. So... Very... Close...
Two more weeks of formal classes and in 16 days I won't have anything at all left to do except wait to receive my diploma.
