My main computer continues to be borked. And for some reason it's brought my whole network to its knees so no connectivity anywhere except my lovely little iPad. (thank you iPad)

I was in Ottawa Monday and Tuesday which always exhausts me and I have a class tonight and The Kid finds out if she made the volleyball team within the next couple of hours and my stress level is beyond code red status right now.

I've made the wise decision to work from home today so m brain doesn't shatter and I can pfitz around with this mutha pluckin computer.

Or I may just sit and drink all day.

I should have stayed home today. The traffic was a nightmare. I'm falling asleep because the last week is finally catching up with me. I have a metric shit ton of data entry to do which is making me sleep and something in my left shoulder blade is jacked which is causing tingly-hurty sensations back there as I'm typing and data entering.

I gots me some staff in Ottawa (Downtown? Is Sparks Street considered Downtown? I think yes, since there's at least 2 Starbucks within a 3 minute walk.) and most of them are brand spankin' new at what they do. Smart as anything, but still lacking in some experience. I've been managing them from here in Halifax for the past couple of months, but we've decided they'd really benefit from a more hands on approach for the next little while, so I'll be spending part of the week, every two weeks, in your fair city.

On one hand I find the travel exhausting, but on the other hand, these are the nicest group of people you'd ever want to work with and I have fallen in love with the city of Ottawa.
