I am now going to wax poetically about 9/11. On this day 11 years ago I started university. Holy shit. I started university 11 years ago. Damn, you'd think I'd be finished now, wouldn't you. But apparently no. I have learned, however, that I am smarter than the average 19 year old university student. Brilliant assertation, huh. Still at least a year and a half to go, probably closer to two and change unless I continue to maintain this metal constitution that I've taken on for the past year or so. Hope so, but doubt it.

There's lots of serious waxing I could do... where I was. How I felt. How my very first class, creative writing, adapted to let people creatively write about the day... But I won't. I feel like it might devalue it a bit.

In other news, a new gym has opened up in my neighbourhood. I belong to the chain, so this is a good thing. Its a fantastic spot. HUGE. With tanning beds (particularly yay since my tanning salon has dropped off the face of the earth) And it has a separate spot for women, so if you're old, dumpy and self concious (who me? hell ya!) you can go into a separate, spacious area and exercise without worrying that Mr. Lump-o-muscle is staring at your pathetic flabbiness. So I've been popping in quite regularly. It's delightful. Get a 4 minute tan and a 20 minute workout and Bob's your uncle. I've also started this week to do the dog walking thing before work. It's a pain in the ass, I get up at 5:30 to do it, but once I'm out of bed it's great.

Ok, that's it.

Oh, if you'd like somebody else's more relevant tribute to 9/11 go here. I like the way this woman thinks.
