This makes me kind of sad for some reason. I haven't really been following the process all that closely, and I am Canadian, after all, and it doesn't really affect me (any more than it affects all of us in the global sense), but I watched a bit of the debate in South Carolina and I really enjoyed the fact that, while Obama and Clinton were going at each other hammer and tongs, Edwards kinda stood back, shook his head, woudln't get involved in the mud slinging and said (to the effect of) that the government really needs to put its energy into the needs of the people rather than beating each other up.

I thought that was really... well... I thought it was honourable, and you don't see much of that in politicians these days.

Shame, really.
