Puppy Chow
Dec. 18th, 2003 07:31 pmThis is a recipe to die for and easier than pie. I thought I'd share it.
Ingredients:
one cup of butter
two cups of milk chocolate chips
one cup of smooth peanut butter
500 grams of icing sugar
1 box of Chex cereal
melt them everything but the icing sugar together. Take the
box of Chex or something similar and put it in a really big bowl. Dump the melted chocolate mixture on the Chex and mix it up. Take another really big bowl (preferably with a lid, or a big bag) and put the icing sugar in it. Dump the chocolate covered chex in the icing sugar and shake it until it's coated. ENJOY!
Observations from someone who's just made this for the first time:
It really does look like puppy food. (Somuch so that Jess woudn't eat it when first shown to her)
Before you dump the mixture in the icing sugar it looks like this will NEVER work. It does.
The chocolate mixture will burn very easily even at a low temperature.
