anigoDentist apt. at 8:50 in the morning went surprisingly well. Aside from the fact it took the dental hygienist pretty much one hour and five minutes to clean my teeth. (Oh for god's sake SHUT UP and just clean them already!) But aside from that, no cavities and... and... and... the hottie dentist (who's name I couldn't remember) actually remarked that my hair looked different from the last time I was in (8 mos ago) and I look like I had lost weight. He said I looked good! Now how many times can you say your hottie dentist says you look good? Exactly!
Then off to the optometrist to pick up my contacts only to find that my insurance will pay for them directly so I am not out (albeit temporarily) $160, rather I have brand new contacts that didn't cost me nothin'!
And then off to have lunch with my friend Rosemary whose company is wonderful even without decent food. We both had soup and a salad. I had French onion (with too much cinnamon, I think. Cinnamon should be on apples, occasionally coffee, and sprinkled on top of rock lobster shooters, but not in French Onion Soup - nor chili, for those of you who might be taking notes.) and a salad with baby greens, goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes and walnuts. T'was all very lovely.
I also found a towel rack for my newly painted bathroom for a reasonable amount of bling, and three iron trellis jobbers for sweat peas in the back yard - for 30% off an already ridiculously low price.
Makes me kinda glad I got out of bed today.
