I need new contacts. I can't see out of one eye, it's all blurry. Protein buildup or some such thing. I have disposables that should be disposed on a regular basis but have been in use for the past... well... little while. (I'm not telling that it's been a year. Because that sounds very irresponsible.)

Just thought you should know.

Yikes! Mine are bi-weekly disposibles. I keep them about a month, but a year is a super long time. You should get new ones. Do you know the prescription? ClearlyContacts.ca is the bestest.

Yeah, I placed an order for new ones last week. I've never bought contacts through anybody but my optometrist, but since I used to sail with him he usually gives them to me at cost, which isn't bad. :) I usually stretch mine out to every two months or so, but I didn't realize a whole year had gone by until I ordered the new ones and the receptionist told me that it had been a year since I was in last (which is when he gave me the ones I have in now as a *trial* pair)

That's neat! I ordered my first set through Wal-Mart, but they're more expensive. I got 12 boxes (8 pairs per box) of my prescription for about $130.00
