I'm taking a woman's study course in school this term and I have to write a paper on a "Fun Feminist Project."

The project is based on a feminist pedagogical strategy, which incorporate academic study with the practice of making your research a tool for social action and change. It will require the class to prepare an online fair consisting of educational exhibits about topics related to those we study in class.

Your essay should be 11-12 pages long and your exhibit should contain visually interesting and accurate up-to-date information about your topic, and should provide highlights of the essay component of this project.

So It looks like I have to write a paper and create an e-poster type presentation on a feminist topic. Broad, huh.

So......

I, admittedly, am not a strong feminist activist. In fact, I suspect there are many who would suggest (and probably rightly so) I'm a little bit pathetic when it comes to feminism. I take a lot of my rights for granted.

But that's not why I'm writing this post. The argument about my feminist activism can be kept for another day.

I know I *do* have a lot of strong women who occasionally put up with me and read my posts. I'm asking you if you have any thoughts about the direction of my paper. The subject that I was thinking of, mostly because it's something that I can relate to, is the glass ceiling. But I suspect that there are lots of other topics out there that would be better served and more exciting.

Thoughts? Open my eyes. I'm willing to look.
