Hey it's me!

Two things of note:

First, I'm making miso soup, and it's GOOD. However, a) Dashi is hard to find and chicken broth isn't quite cutting it. It would be much better with dashi. If I could find it. 2) you really don't need much of the dried seaweed. Surprisingly not much. It's very easy to make it seaweed soup rather than miso soup. On the upside, I like seaweed.

Second. I think I broke my big toe sparring last night in Tae Kwon Do. It's all purple and swolen and hard to walk on. Oh well, the hazards of the sport I guess.

Other than that, life is pretty darn good. It's spring out there today. The snow has receeded in places enough that I can see the wee buds of the tulips and daffies. That in itself just drives me nuts with pleasure.

And I'm making miso soup.

Can life get better?
