Life isn't so bad.

The sun is actually shining. ACTUALLY OUT THERE SHINING. After a month of pure rain, it's sunny, and warm! Now if only somebody would tell my body that it's morning and that in the morning you're supposed to be awake an alert. Something circadian has been wonky with me lately and I'm not actually awake until sometime around 3:00 in the afternoon. It's been hellish trying to get out of bed the past couple of days.

Why is it that MSN is not user friendly when it comes to trying to find web based messenger? Is there any particular reason they hide it in the bowels of their existance?

If you can get past the preachy (peachy?) factor of the "buy organic" stuff, this is hilarious http://www.storewars.org/flash/

I think that there will be sailing this weekend. It's been nice all week and is supposed to continue to be so right into the weekend so I think that, barring some great act of god, there will be sailing this weekend. Life starts again Saturday. Oh fun. Small craft warning for Friday. (Saturday isn't up yet) Well, might as well start with a bang. (not literally, please)

Ok, that's all I have to say for now. If you're looking for me I'll be napping under my desk.

Hey Cool

I got yet another raise!

The company has just finished doing salary comparisons with similar jobs in other organizations and... badaboombadabing, I was being underpaid. I'm still at the bottom end of the pay scale, but the bottom end of the scale is more than I was making before, even after my first two raises. I am now, working four days a week, making as much as Dick does working full time. I am also now making 40% more than I did 3 months ago.

Cool, huh!
