Anigo crawls out of bed, stretches and tries to think of what to be greatful for today

I am greatful that there aren't any hurricanes, blizzards, typhoons or any really horrible weather conditions of any sort going on outside today.

I am greatful that I was able to get out of bed under my own steam - many aren't you know.

I continue to be greatful for Organically Grown Italian Roast coffee. (Heretoforth known as OGIRC)

I am glad that once I've posted this I shall stand up and go get into a nice hot shower.

I am just way to easily ticked today

Irrationally grumpy, one could say.

Ever have one of those days?

And The Kid, as much as I adore the heck out of her, is driving me BATTY.

Today I'd be grateful for just a little bit more patience.

This would be me - the mother of the best kid in the world

So The Kid comes in the computer room - I'm trying to do homework, and feeling grumpy - she and the neighbour's kid have been annoying me and now she want's to go somewhere, but nowhere that I can get homework done like the library - but somewhere like a movie or something.

So I tell her, "honey, I'm sorry, I'm grumpy, I don't know why, but I am. I wish I knew what you could do, but..."

And with that she threw her arms around me and said "I know what you need - a hug"

And you know, she was right.
