I love my job
Oct. 8th, 2003 01:06 pmI just did an EAP orientation at a company where, apparently, the prerequisite to working there was that you had to be a hunk.
It's very hard to focus on talking about accessing counselling for personal problems when 60 sexy eyes are on you.
I wonder when all was said and done if I made any sense.
Well, they applauded for me anyway.
Update
Just got an email from the contact for the company that I just gave the presentation to. It read:
Gina
Just a note to thank you for coming in today.
I just wanted to let you know there were many favorable comments on your
presentation.
You have been picked as the best presenter we have had doing a luncheon
session - interesting and humourous.
Excuse me while I forward this to the people who are currently trying to decide who to lay off and who to keep.
