My Brain Hurts.
Apr. 12th, 2005 02:42 pmAnybody remember... What was it, Evil Dead 2? Where all the zombies used to go around saying their brains hurt and the only way to make them feel better was to eat other people's brains?
Well, the thought of eating somebody else's brain right now does NOTHING for me, so be not afraid. But I could really stand with a bit less on the brain owie scale and a little more on the energy scale.
Big action in front of my house last night. I've been feeling punk the past day or so and I went to bed super early - 9:00 early. About 9:30 or so there was this huge THUDSMASHBANGTHUMP immediately preceding a wail of sirens. The sirens didn't keep going by the house, but rather stopped right in front of our house. Apparently there was a car chase and the kid driving the car flew over the hill at the top of our road, went on the OUTSIDE of the telephone pole and ended up wacking the culvert of the house across the street from us. There were tonnes of police cars and ambulances and stuff. Luckily nobody was injured and the kids in the car all got carted off to somewhere. This is the fourth time a variation of this has happened in the 10 years I've lived in my house. The first time, the car went INTO the house two doors up from me, the second time the car ended up on the lawn of the house next to me. and the third time the car ended up in the driveway of the house across from the house two doors up. Fun Stuff. Needless to say, I didn't get to sleep at 9:00 last night.
I had other very important news but my brain hurts and I can't remember it.
Oh, BIG NEWS. BIG NEWS! Remember
fatty666 and his acceptance into Kings? He's just found out that he's got a renewable scholarship for the Mount, which is the university I go to. If he keeps his nose clean they'll give him $24,000 over four years. (And I suspect this is only the beginning of the money...) This would be me being PROUD!
Ok, I'm going togo have a nap... er.. go back to work now.
