anigoBeing up at 6:00 am on two of your three mornings off has got to be illegal.
Dick works today and left the house at 6:00. The dog wanted out shortly thereafter. But would she go back to bed?? NOOOOOO! That would be too easy. Instead, she picks up her new squeeky toy, the one she got yesterday and refused to play with, and gets in bed next to me and decides that NOW she'd like to play with it.

niffer8 and i had a HOOT yesterday. On the way in to town we saw a mommy and a daddy deer with their widdle baby deer on Magazine Hill. It's a fenced off spot where the Navy stores all their munitions. (Canadian Navy, therefore half a dozen fire crackers, a couple of old rusty swords, a pile of rocks and a bunch of pointy sticks.) It's just before you get to the city, but it's quite heavily wooded and loaded with deer. If you see one, you'll have good luck that day. We saw three. We also managed to get a parking spot RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR at the forum. Normally we have to park at least half a mile away and hoof it. She spent an incredible amount of money. I bought a birthday present for a party The Kid has to go to tomorrow and some hand made smelly soap. Somehow I managed to lose the smelly soap between the soap shop and the car. We did get what we went for, though. Food. Shish kebabs with super hot sauce. Indian food that will leave me wishing I hadn't eaten it for the next couple of days. Herb Jelly that is to die for.
In the end, we spent more time malling than at the Craft/Antique show. She bought these GREAT jammies that I am extremely envious of. An orange waffle top and robin's egg blue pants with little orange flowers. And babies, we're talking ORANGE. Ain't no hunter gonna mistake you for wildlife in these bad-boys. Sexy they ain't, but I am an orange wearer, and these jammies screamed ME!. The jamies were $70 though, and there's no way on earth I can afford to pay $70 on a pair of jammies right now.niffer8 is not an orange wearer by nature, but we had so much fun with them that she bought them anyway.
And most importantly, we laughed. A lot. Which was good, sinceniffer8 SERIOUSLY needs a good laugh lately.
Well, my coffee cup's empty. The shower's calling me as is some bagely goodness. Gotta get some groceries before noon whenniffer8's dropping her dogs off for a couple of hours while her house has a showing. Fun dogs. Two rescued greyhounds. Brains the size of walnuts, I swear. But fun none the less.
