Why is it you can go all summer without one phone call and then within 24 hours you have three crisises (criseees? Crisi?)
So, since going for a walk didn't help, it's time to think of the three things.
1. I am so very grateful for The Kid. She's wonderful. She stuck a little note in my binder that says "I love you. I love you so much, I wode kiss you and hug you all day logn. You are my farit."
She gets her spelling tallent from me.
2. I am grateful for Thursday. For having tomorrow off. For being off until Monday.
3. I am grateful that I have some wonderful friends who will listen to me rant and will occasionally put a pillow under my head when I repeatedly bang it against the desk.
