It feels like I haven't posted in a very long time, but looking at my calendar, it was only yesterday. Humm.. Where does the time go?

I've had a wonderous long weekend - Took Thursday off in lieu of not getting home until after Midnight Wednesday. Friday is my day off, and here it is Saturday all ready. I'm off sailing in an hour so I can't stay long, just a few seconds to say hi.

Lessee... The Kid has decided once and for all she's done with Gymnastics. Fair enough. We'll de-register her on Monday. Dick's gone four-wheelin' with his friends. He left yesterday and will be back some time Sunday, so The Kid and I are having a great girl's time. We've been watching movies and shopping. Maybe tonight we'll call a stripper!

There's no wind today, much fog and it's threatening to rain. Luckily it's not cold. I do like sailing in the rain when it's not cold. (Can you say Gill Foul Weather Gear? I knew you could!) But if it stays foggy and windless they'll cancel the race.

Well, I guess it's time to hit the showers. The sitter will be here in an hour and I've only just got out of bed. (One thing I can say for The Kid having enough of gymnastics, no more 7:00 in the morning training sessions - that rocks!)
