Sep. 5th, 2004 09:03 amWell, it finally happened. I finally used up all my allotted sympatico webspace. Luckily, about a month ago Thom decided to actually purchase webspace for the http://www.dancemeloose.ca website, and I'd copied all the stuff that was residing on my sympatico space to the new dml space. I just hadn't deleted it from my space. Until now, that is. So now I have webspace again, and this whole paragraph is completely irrelevant.
The reason I found this out is because I wanted to post this:

...in preparation for national smiley day, only to find out that I'd used up all my webspace, but as I've deleted the DML stuff and now have space again, once more this paragraph is completely irrelevant.
**edited** because Andreas pointed it out to me.
Had a hard race yesterday. We've still got remnants of hurricane somebody or other hanging around. It was tres windy and very much a pit day. My arms are sore from all the sail changes and spinnaker grinding. There's another race Monday. Yay for racing. There's a big race next weekend from Halifax to Liverpool and back - expected to take 36+ hours. YAY for overnight racing. I suspect, however, that 'round about that time we'll be experiencing the remnants of Hurricane Francis. Boo for overnight racing in hurricane leftovers. That is unless it stays as it is and continues to travel at 2 miles an hour, in which case we'll get it roughly next August.
Oh, I watched Wind the other night. It really catches the whole spirit of sailboat racing. I will gladly lend it to anybody who wants to see just what it is I'm all hung up about. Ya gotta fast forward through the mushy love scenes tho. In the end, it's really all about sailing.
Anything else?
Nah, I guess that's enough for the time being.
Dick's working today, so I can sit in front of this box without guilt to my heart's content. Gonna go play Sims now.
