A proposition

I would like to make a proposal.

We've all had our share of crap over the last little bit. There have been trials and tribulations, heartbreak and flamewars.

I would like to propose that Monday, Sept. 6 be World Wide Smiley Day.

It's not world wide make up with your enemy day, or world wide make the earth a cleaner place day day. These things, while having great honour and benefit, also come with a cost.

I would like to propose that for one day all Journal entries be Plain Ol' Free Fun. Fluff. Memes. Recipies. Whimsy sharing. Jokes and general sillyness day. Updates about the fun things in your day. Stuff like that. Yes, crappy things happen, and we're all here to support one another, but let's just focus on silly good things for this day. We can go back to deep thoughts and braving the cold world on Tuesday.

Anybody with me? If so, spread the word.

Awwww.. and I just saw Garden Stae for the 2nd time *and* got the soundtrack so I'm all full of deep dark thoughts. Oh well. I guess I can be silly for one day. Only for my sister tho.
