So, in the end...
Aug. 31st, 2004 05:17 pm...s'all about choices, ain't it.
The red pill or the blue pill?
If you choose to overeat, yer gonna gain weight.
If you choose to sleep in, yer gonna get penalized at work/school
If you choose A, B will most likely happen. And if you've made a concious decision to choose A, you pretty much have to live with B. Donchathink?
If you choose to work *and* go to school, you're not going to have as much free time. If you have less free time, you're going to have to choose between family and personal fun. If you choose work *and* free time, you're not going to get to go to school.
If you choose to stay and put up with it over leaving it *and* everything else, that's a choice.
The question is, do you have the right to kvetch about it?
It's all about in the cosmic end of things, you can't have both your cake and eat it too.
This piece of wisdom brought to you by me, wasting time at work. (I mean, that's a choice too, isn't it)
**edit** By the way, this isn't about anybody. It's been brought about by yet another wasted effort for a bit of recognition at work. Yay for motivation.
